Eddie Stechman

1931 - 1998

Eddie joined the Team in 1996, but in the short time he was with us, he managed to build a seven foot model of the Royal Sovereign in seven months, and then six of our smaller Galleons we still use in our shows today.

The Royal Sovereign is now being transformed into the French warship Redoutable for our Trafalgar Display, and will continue to be a core model in our displays for years to come.

The one thing you can be sure of, is that the idea of his ship firing upon the Victory would appeal to his sense of humour.
