Weymouth International Model Show is a favourite of ours, the water is of a nice size and the public appreciative, although having said that we have been a little jinxed at this show over the years.

This year we didn't have any major failures and above all we only sunk the models we were supposed to, it seems this time around are bad luck was to have one of our biggest sailing fleets, only for the wind to blow nearly gale force and scatter the fleet to the four winds.

This Year we decided that instead of launching the Sailing Ships separately, we would have a go at mooring the models bow to stern along the lake side, and if I say so myself, it looked impressive.

We managed to get enough of our Sailing Fleet to the middle of the lake to join in battle, and despite the struggle we enjoyed showing off our growing fleet to the public.

The Manned models made a return to the show at Weymouth this year in the form of HMS Canopus and the German warship SMS Schleswig Holstien, the wind didn't effect these large models as much as the Sailing Ships and they performed too their usual high standards.

Another Weymouth Show completed and a good day had by all, we hope to add a few new things to our Display next year, see you there.
